Filled with 100% UK alpaca fibre this alpaca luxury pillow is suitable for all seasons. The mainly hollow alpaca fibres act as a temperature thermostat to keeps you comfortable all night long. Alpaca fleece is naturally anti-allergenic, as it is a dryer fibre than its competitors, therefore it repels dust mites and so is a perfect choice for allergy and asthma sufferers. Covered in a white natural cotton cover with a unique stitching pattern that ensures continued even distribution of filling. Each pillow is made to order. Our bedding is totally sustainable, organic and eco – friendly.
Softly Softly are approved by the British Alpaca Society, and all the alpaca fibre used in the bedding is grown, sheared, processed and finished here in the UK. The fibre is a natural, renewable material from our herd and other sustainable breeders around the country. Our customers can be assured that the alpacas from whom our fibre has been grown have been kept in accordance with the best practices directed by the society.
Alpaca fibre is one of the most ethical products available and is completely eco-friendly throughout its production. No chemicals or dyes are used in the manufacture of our bedding, and the animals themselves are given the best care and nutrition, so as to provide them with long-term health and to help them to maintain a glossy, healthy fleece. Alpacas are not killed for their fur or meat and the animals are not at all harmed come shearing time. Great care is taken so as not to distress the animal or damage the fleece.
Our bedding manufacturers are Vegetarian Society approved, and have a GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certificate.
